Our permit covers advertising on the internet and on social media. Nimbura does not advertise through brochures, newspapers, signboards, radio, television, video discs or cinemas. If you see a Nimbura loan offer in any of these channels, please report it to us.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regulator and applicable law<\/h2>\n\n<p>Nimbura operates under:<\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the Moneylenders Act 1951 (Act 400) \/ Akta Pemberi Pinjam Wang 1951 (Akta 400);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Moneylenders (Control and Licensing) Regulations 2003 \/ Peraturan-Peraturan Pemberi Pinjam Wang (Kawalan dan Pelesenan) 2003.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Our regulator is the Ministry of Housing and Local Government (Kementerian Perumahan dan Kerajaan Tempatan, KPKT). Through the Registrar of Moneylenders, KPKT issues and renews moneylending licences, issues advertising permits and approves licensed moneylenders to operate online.<\/p>\n\n<p>The Moneylenders Act 1951 limits the interest a licensed moneylender may charge: up to 12% per annum for secured loans and up to 18% per annum for unsecured loans. The interest rate on Nimbura loans does not exceed 18% per annum.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to verify our licence<\/h2>\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Download i-KrediKom, the official KPKT app, from Google Play or the App Store.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Search for our company name: NIMBURA SDN. BHD.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that the details match this page: licence no. WL7662\/10\/01-3\/110127, valid until 11 January 2027.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can also check that Nimbura appears on KPKT&#8217;s list of licensed moneylenders approved to operate online, published on the KPKT website.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the details do not match, or someone offers you a &#8220;Nimbura&#8221; loan through a channel not listed in our Anti-Scam &amp; Security Policy, do not make any payment.
