At Nimbura, your safety comes first. We are a fully licensed Malaysian moneylender under KPKT and operate strictly in line with responsible lending and data protection requirements. This page explains how we protect you from scams and how you can protect yourself.

How Nimbura Protects You

  • Secure Identification: We use e‑KYC, OTP (one‑time passwords), and MCMC‑recognised digital certificates to verify every customer.
  • Licensed Lending: All loans are provided directly by Nimbura Sdn. Bhd., licensed under the Moneylenders Act 1951.
  • Data Protection: Your data is processed through secure, encrypted connections in accordance with Malaysian PDPA laws.

⚠️ Important Notice on Fees

Note: Nimbura charges legitimate fees (Attestation Fees and Stamp Duty). However, these are always deducted from your loan amount before you receive it.

We will NEVER ask you to transfer money from your personal bank account or e-wallet to us before you receive your loan. Any request for an upfront “deposit” or “activation fee” is a scam.

How to Recognise Scams

  • Offers for “Nimbura loans” via personal social media profiles.
  • Requests to share your bank login, SMS OTP, or Nimbura password.
  • Pressure to pay a fee to “release” or “activate” your loan.

What to Do if You Suspect a Scam

  1. Stop all communication immediately.
  2. Do not make any payments.
  3. Take screenshots of all messages and numbers.
